How do you price a junk removal job?
We base the price on how much space your items take up in the truck bed. A quarter load costs less than a half load, and a full truck costs the most. When we arrive, we look at what you want removed, estimate the truck space, and give you the total before we start loading. If you approve the price, we get to work. If the job turns out smaller than we thought, we adjust down. We never charge more than the quote.
Do you donate or recycle anything?
Yes. Furniture in decent shape goes to local donation centers if they're accepting that week. Metal appliances go to the scrap yard. We separate what can be reused or recycled and take the rest to the landfill. We don't charge extra for sorting — it's part of the job and it keeps usable items out of the dump.
Can you remove things from inside the house, or do I need to move them to the curb?
We come inside and carry everything out ourselves. You point to what goes, and we load it. Stairs, narrow hallways, tight corners — we handle it. You don't need to move anything to the driveway or the curb. That's what you're paying us for.
How far in advance do I need to schedule?
Most customers who call before noon get same-day or next-day service, depending on how full the schedule is. If you have a specific deadline — a closing date, an inspection, a lease turnover — tell us when you call and we'll prioritize it. For estate cleanouts and foreclosure work, we usually need a day or two of notice to block off the time.
Do you haul construction debris?
Yes. Drywall, lumber scraps, old cabinets, flooring, sinks, toilets — we take it. We can't haul hazardous materials like paint cans with liquid still in them, asbestos, or chemicals, but most remodel waste is fine. If you're not sure whether we can take something, call and describe it. We'll tell you on the phone.
What happens if the job is smaller than the quote?
We charge you for the actual space used. If we quoted you for a half-load and it only fills a quarter of the truck, you pay the quarter-load rate. We measure after we're loaded and adjust the price down if needed. We've been doing this since 2014, and we don't overcharge — it's not worth losing a customer over a few dollars.
